Woah! What a day ...

It's raining again could be todays theme for the Kaisermarathon! It was unbelievable with which weather conditions we all had to deal with. Heavy rain, strong wind and low temperatures were best friends for today. At the end we decided to shorten the course for all athletes for safety reasons. The race ended at the Hexenwasser, not at the Hohe Salve.
The fight against the weather won Gábor Józsa (HUN) and Sintayehu Kibebo (ETH)! Hats off for all of you who were on the start and who finished the extreme tough 35 km!! Hats off also to our Ultra-Trail-runners, who started at 5 am!
Last but not least ... THANK YOU to our volunteers who did their best today! Tomorrow the sun promised us to visit us in Söll ... See you tomorrow!
